Why do you need a list
Think about the last few years of your life. One of my good friends once correctly noted that we identify ourselves with our place of work and increasingly say WE - “we bought a quarry in South America”, “we bought 5 helicopters and 10 Mercedes”, “we increased revenue by 100 million dollars" and so on. But when you go deeper, you realize that no one traveled further than Ukraine, I only saw a helicopter in the air, and the maximum amount of money that I held in my hands was 1000 salary dollars.
It's time to understand that there is an “I” who wants to jump with a parachute, travel around the globe and do a dozen different stupid things that are embarrassing to tell children about. Remember yourself tired but happy when you accomplished something important. You relive the highlights of your life hundreds of hundreds of times in your head. Now imagine that you have a LIST of 100 items and you have promised yourself to implement about 3-5 items from this list every year. Just think how much happier you will become, how much new you will learn, how the psychological situation in the family will change. It will be just cool!
Become a volunteer
3. Become a volunteer for some good cause
Do good without expecting anything in return. This experience will undoubtedly give you the best experience of your life. This is one of those experiences that each of us should try.
There are hundreds of things you can do as a volunteer to help other people in need.
Volunteering to do good deeds is not mandatory. It should rather be a call from the heart and soul.
You could try being a hostess, working with children with disabilities, or helping homeless animals in shelters.
Your money, skills and social status do not play a special role.
In such matters, the desire to help others is important, and the efforts and efforts made will do their job.
Try to do good to those who need it. Make time for this. Remember that every good deed you do is important, and that there are always those in the world who are worse off than you, which means there are those who constantly need your help.
What to do in life
Everything is extremely simple and takes no more than 10-15 minutes per brainstorming session. Personally, I created a document on my computer desktop in which I write down my dreams and desires at certain intervals. I'm trying to understand what I want and how much this or that activity will make me happier.
To make the task of creating your list easier, I recommend answering the following questions:
- What would happen if you passed away tomorrow? What is the most important thing you would like to do today?
- What would you do if you had unlimited time, money and resources?
- What countries and places would you like to visit?
- What feelings would you like to experience?
- What moments would you like to witness?
- What is the most important thing on your personal scale of values that you would like to achieve?
- What craft would you like to learn?
- Who would you like to meet in person?
- What would you like to achieve in different areas of your life (social, family, physical, spiritual)?
Refer to these questions as often as necessary to build your personal wish list. Take as much time as it takes. Read the list below for further inspiration.
Hiking
1. Go hiking
Hiking is at the top of this list for a reason. According to those who practice it, this sport gives an unforgettable experience. Due to its low cost, it is especially popular among students.
Hiking allows you to enjoy natural beauty in any direction. Its advantages are relatively low travel costs, and there is a whole ocean of pleasure and emotions from it.
Freedom and fun are the main companions of hiking. Plus, this is a great opportunity to make new interesting acquaintances. Even traveling alone without companions, you will never feel lonely. There will always be people around you.
Attend a comedy show
Live comedy performances are always great. Even if the performance itself is not very successful, during its course there will still be something to laugh at. Go laugh out loud, as loud and weird as you want, and don't be afraid of anyone judging you for your favorite jokes or the way you giggle. This will allow you to relax and enjoy the process to the fullest.
Ride a roller coaster
If you usually prefer to pretend you're not scared so your friends won't find out how scared you really are, or instead scream just because everyone else is too, go on a roller coaster alone. You will get a completely new experience. Instead of thinking about others, you can completely surrender to the experience and enjoy the views from above. You may realize that you don't like the rides at all and just went on them for company. Or maybe you will love them even more - that's what you have to find out!

Self-development
If a person always stops at what has been achieved in one area or another, then he will not be able to achieve great heights. Therefore, do not forget how important it is to develop every day. And we are talking not only about the professional sphere of activity. A person should also take care of his body by regularly engaging in physical activity, read more books, develop his memory and expand his vocabulary, get out of his comfort zone, and so on.
Lack of progress is degradation. So the list of necessary things for women and men should definitely include self-development. Otherwise, a person will not feel that he is living a useful life. He will gradually begin to understand that he could achieve more if he could overcome barriers within himself. Sooner or later, such thoughts will lead to the fact that the person simply ceases to feel the taste of life and feel happiness.
Inspiration
This thing, necessary for every person, is also called motivation. An inspired person is capable of achieving great heights. And we are not even talking about wealth and enormous popularity. It is unlikely that any person who has ever lived has used even half his potential. And it’s all about motivation, which appears and then disappears. Of course, no one can be inspired every day, but it is precisely this state that leads to better results.
Many people believe that motivation is the province of individuals involved in sports. Well, only those who are creative need inspiration. Of course, such words are deeply misleading. After all, a motivated person is capable of not only achieving great success in life, but also completing assigned tasks without much difficulty, and also finding the strength to solve problems. Every person really needs this thing.
Discipline
Self-development is simply impossible without this most important thing. If a person does not know how to control his own thoughts, feelings, actions and spoken words, then he will forever remain in the same place where he is now. No matter how strong the motivation, sooner or later it will disappear. But if a person has well-developed discipline, then he will be able to overcome all adversity by simply saying: “I must do this!”
This useful quality allows you not only to engage in self-development, but also to establish relationships with other people. After all, sometimes you just want to say a few sweet words to a close friend or significant other. However, we hold back so as not to hurt the person. If a person knows how to discipline himself, he will be able to simplify the process of achieving what he wants, and will also very quickly find his soul mate.
Visit a church
Religion is associated with many stereotypes and prejudices in the minds of most people, so it can be difficult for you to determine what is truly important and valuable. Religious traditions can be a fun and relaxing way to feel closer to family and friends, but it's worth going to church alone from time to time. Visit different churches, synagogues, mosques and other religious buildings, get to know your own feelings and think about what matters most to you. This will allow you to abandon stereotypical ideas that only get in the way and get rid of the feeling of guilt. Perhaps you can find your own path, which will give you a lot of positive emotions.

Education
What things do a modern person need to feel happy? Many will say that a large amount of money, as well as influential acquaintances, is enough. However, will a rich person feel happy when she has to communicate with smart people? Or does the number of smartphones indicate the level of intelligence? Of course not. Therefore, every person needs a good education to achieve great heights.
However, one should not confuse an educated person with one who graduated from a higher educational institution. You don't have to go to Harvard or take professional courses to be smart. Many outstanding personalities were self-taught. The main thing is to have a desire for self-improvement and use every opportunity to become smarter, since without the necessary knowledge in a particular area you will not be able to achieve success.
Take an improv class
Improv courses provide students with a range of skills, including stage presence and comedy. In these classes you will learn how to use your imagination and cope with shyness, how to become more creative and speak louder. You will find that you feel less self-conscious when you take these courses. It's really worth a try for everyone!
Life Skills
23. Choose quality food.
Spoiled fruits and vegetables can tempt you with low prices, but ultimately play a cruel joke on your health.
24. Know how to handle a hammer, ax and hacksaw.
Carpenters aren't the only people who need these tools. Every person should have a basic knowledge of basic hand tools.
25. Maintain your budget.
Being in debt is no fun. Controlling your expenses is key.
26. Speak at least two common languages.
Approximately 300 million people in the world speak Russian (this is less than 5 percent); 25 percent of the population speaks English. It would be nice to be able to find a common language with English speakers and with the remaining 70 percent.
27. Do push-ups and squats correctly.
The wrong technique for performing these basic exercises will not only bring you nothing useful, but will also make your body hurt, and you will waste your time.
28. Know how to give compliments.
This is one of the greatest gifts you can give a person. And it's free.
29. Know how to negotiate.
30. Listen carefully to others.
The more you listen and the less you talk, the more you learn and the less you miss.
Friendship
All people who decide to engage in self-development should carefully learn one lesson: loneliness is a utopia. No matter what heights a person reaches, it is vital for him to feel the attention of others to himself. This allows you to increase your self-esteem and also gain motivation to move forward. However, who, if not a friend, is able to give practical advice or even help in a difficult situation? Therefore, a person should also include friendship in the list of necessary things.
Plus, connecting with people can be incredibly rewarding. Think for yourself: who will have an easier time building a house - a person who is used to doing hard work himself, or someone who will ask for help to supply a heavy sheet of slate for the roof? Friends can give us the right thoughts, point out our shortcomings, and motivate us to be better. Therefore, you should value friendship and make useful contacts if necessary.
Safety
Every person should feel that his life is not in danger. Otherwise, there can be no talk of any self-development, because you will have to spend all your time only protecting yourself and your loved ones. Therefore, every person deep down understands that safety is of great importance. The reason for everything is the instinct of self-preservation, which is inherent in us by nature itself. There is nothing more important than saving your own life by any means necessary.
Most people do not pay much attention to this factor because they simply do not notice it. However, imagine a situation where you suddenly find yourself in the past, right on the front line in the Great Patriotic War. Will the safety of your loved ones and your own be important to you? Most likely, it will be at the top of your list of necessary things. What a pity that many people simply do not appreciate the fact that they live in peacetime and forget about safety.
